There is a beautiful, inviting room just ready for someone to spend a day, a night,
and a week or longer in the beautiful Kettle Moraine Forest outside of West Bend.
Shalom House had its beginnings in the year 2002 and because of its location on Shalom Drive
the name fit perfectly, almost magically, with its purpose-quiet reflection and peace.
It has been a place of new ideas, contemplation and transitions for anyone who has had the chance to stay.
This has meant workshops, silent retreats, and use of the home for yoga weekends or celebrations (birthdays or
weddings). It’s a place to step back from the busyness of life in a safe and caring environment.
Shalom House, a Frank Lloyd Wright style design, accommodates 1-12 guests with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms,
great room with fireplace, den, large kitchen, meditation garden, and nature trails. This lovely retreat
occupies 12 acres in the Kettle Moraine Forest outside West Bend, Wisconsin.
Whatever the reason-whether to rest, to inspire, to dream, to celebrate come take time for the
renewal of the spirit at the Shalom House. The quiet space is waiting for you.

Silence is confrontational. It won’t allow us
to escape from the voices in our head. Of course
it’s scary but the point is it’s far scarier
not to hear these voices.
